Re-wedding

Katie, on July 22, 2019 at 11:23 AM Posted in Planning 0 4
Hi all! My husband and I will have our 10 year wedding anniversary in 2023. The day we got married, it was a very rushed, dollar store style wedding. We promised eachother that in 10 years we would have a real true wedding in a church, with all the trimmings like our dream wedding. We are now planning that. It will not only be a reaffirmation of our vows, but a full on new wedding. What are some traditions of a wedding that should stay or go for a wedding "do over"? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. We are so excited but nervous about doing the wrong things!

I think it's whatever you make of it Smiley smile you don't have to keep traditional things like garter toss or such like that. Do what you like and remember that everyone is there to celebrate your love Smiley smile

I think a good idea is to pick what is important to you. Is it the dress? The cake? Photographer? Decide what to prioritize and the rest will follow

Any aspect of a wedding is fine for a vow renewal except showers and bachelor(ette) parties.

You're free to be as traditional or modern as you'd like! Consider investing in a great photographer to preserve your special day Smiley heart
