Ready for it to be over!!

Hey Date Twin. I am in the same boat. I'm ready for the honeymoon to relax and be by ourselves. Just a few more small details and it is done other than the day itself. I am so done. We had a short engagement(together 10 years so why drag it out more?) and I am feeling the stress lately

I'm ready to stop spending money on this wedding so we can save to spend more money on a house lol We met with a realtor last week and I'm ready to get started but I know I can't take the double stress of a wedding and purchasing a home

I hear that! FH and I are both just ready for this to be over so we can be alone on our HM in Mexico.

I'm ready for the in-between time to be over. I want to plan but it's to early to make decisions because I know I'll change my mind and then be out money. Kicking myself for not going with 8/1. Totally could have done it. Even my dress wouldn't have been an issue since it's off the rack and doesn't need to be ordered.

I'm so ready for it to be over. We have mommy rivalry, too many oppinuons, and a lot of Debbie downers in our families. I can't wait for the marriage part of this deal.

I'm with you! I'm over everyone else's agendas. Planning has been great but dealing with others is what has me ready for it to come and go :-(

Yup!! I'm so sick of being stressed out, brought into family drama, being annoyed with fh for not helping. Over it.

42 days to go and I'm so ready for the wedding! Next week is my bridal shower, and I'm ready for the fun stuff to start!

I am also ready for the wedding to be over!! We aren't doing a honeymoon so I am not excited about that... lol. But I did get a new job recently this year and it's going so well and I love it. I've found what I want to do with my life now, so I am VERY excited to work on my skills and learn more to work on my career. Like really nerdy excited about that. Can't wait for the wedding to be over so I can register for some night classes and focus my time on something that will actually help my life, not add stress to it... LOL

I'm all too aware of the family opinions on top of BM and GM acting like they can do as they please. FH acts like we have no budget because he invites everyone! And his mother has been having random ppl RSVP. I'm over it ! Idc who eta or who has a seat I'm gonna act deaf when they ask lol

I totally understand. I just came home for the weekend to do some wedding planning. My FH's family is upset because we "forgot" some people from our guest list and my mother just made me add 3 more people. My mother told me its only one day and not to worry about the money, however I AM THE ONE PAYING. So upset.

Everyone tells me congratulations and the like about my wedding, but I had one friend in January that I ran into that said "Oh gosh, well, it'll be over soon and you can breathe." I laughed so much because I had no idea what he was talking about but he had just gotten married a few months before and was exactly where you are. He couldn't believe the stress they had to deal with and it was just awful for him. He was so happy that it was over and they were finally married.

I'm fortunate that with a small wedding, no bridal party and family all out-of-state and not being opinionated AT ALL, planning has been a breeze. I really have to thank them for making this experience actually really fun. Hang in there! It'll all be over soon. Hopefully, on the day, you can have a moment to breathe and just enjoy

I've felt that way at times, although I've enjoyed the planning for the most part. For me, I look forward to the honeymoon more sometimes cuz that'll JUST be FH having time alone.
