Real candles vs battery operated

Anyone using battery or LED candles versus real candles? I love real ones but understand fire hazards and wouldn't want anything to happen even if we are careful. Anyone doing battery operated ones? What do you think of them?

It really depends on what they are going in/on. If they are semi hidden, battery should be fine. My mom, fiance, and kids are allergic to EVERYTHING and smoke bugs them, so that is another thing to consider with flame and the scents.

I'm having about 200 Unscented candles throughout my wedding and personally LED candles look just like fake flowers. Tacky. .. takes away from the romantic look and feel that real candles give.
