Real people in Allure bridal

Hailey, on July 8, 2016 at 5:47 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 56

I'm going to try on dresses next Saturday, and I Find myself going back to allure bridals over and over. As we all know, it's hard to judge what a dress actually looks like when they have it on a leggy size 2 model. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of themselves, real women, in allure bridals. I'm drawn to 2900, 2716, and 9100. But I'd love to see any and all! Also if you have worn an allure gown, what's your opinion?

Thanks ladies!

I tried on the C320 from the Couture collection! It was really beautiful and I almost bought it! A few things that kept me from buying it: Lace was itchy, beading was heavy, my back looked awful in it! Otherwise, stunning dress!

My dress is an Allure, and I love it!!!!! Style 9272 (but not in blush) Sorry, no pictures yet :-(

Based on the times I've worn it (no fittings yet), I find it comfortable, very well made, and surprisingly light - I can carry my entire ballgown draped over one arm. My advice is to go out there and try on as many as you can; you may put one on that's different than what yoe thought, and fall in love!

Here's one from my fitting where you can see the whole thing. Also, I agree with Zaz, my dress was SUPER light and comfortable, and even the boning wasn't stabby.

Allure 8856. I'm 5'8 and a size 0/2 so not helpful but loved my gown.

@Lizzy - I love your dress! I think I tried that one on, actually. And yes, the structure in Allure is awesome - one consultant said they have long-line bras built into them, so you don't need to worry about what to wear under them. (This may vary by design, but I know mine has one)

I have an Allure gown, and tried many on. I think they're well made, and they have tons of support (some even have built in corsets).

Allure! I don't remember the number though. I thought it was pretty comfortable, and had a built in corset. I didn't even have to wear a bra!

I have a question how much does allure bridal cost? I have heard that they can be as low as $500 new (not sale price) is that true?

No I don't think so @Redneck. I think they generally start at around $1000. If you go into the wedding dress section of WW it will actually give you a price range for each dress. Also, try googling the style number and name and you can get a pretty good idea that way (just make sure you're not looking a prices for a used dress).

Bah I wish I was comfortable posting a photo of myself! I bought an Allure dress. I actually was purchasing it when I asked who made it. ETA: It's allure 2359.

@redneckbride at the salon I went to in the catalog they had be go through I saw many dress under $1000 and not the sample dress. So it may be possible. I found sooooo many well under $2000 of allure.

Mines an Allure, I forget the style number. I love it, it was definitely the designer I had my eye on before trying on dresses and it did not disappoint. it is heavier than other dresses I tried but it does have the built in boning and corset. I'm a street size 12 for reference Smiley smile
