Really disappointed with hair and makeup trial

Go on pinstres and look up make-up for weddings...or soft natural makeup looks.. that's what I did. I saved the many looks that I liked...as well as the hairstyle I like. I will take the looks to my makeup lady and the hairstyles to my hair dresser. Try that and see if that helps you!

I wasn't completely happy with my first make up trial. So I found someone new! If you're not totally happy with it and still have time to look, don't settle!

Yeah seeing as you are so close to the date and have already paid I think your best bet is being completely honest with your concerns. The lashes should be a bit more extravagant as it is in the inspo look. Also I agree with the eyeliner she could have done a better job. While you look beautiful, you want to be satisfied with what you're paying for

I spent lots and f time on Pinterest and showed her exactly what I wanted. With just three eeeks to go, I’m going to try a second trial and talk to my DOC about finding someone she has worked with and loves that maybe available on such short notice.

I would eat the money. You are so gorgeous and this look did nothing for you. Find a different artist or heck, set up a appointment at Sephora with that artist. They did alot better.

Be honest with them on how you feel or find someone else. Don’t risk being unhappy or settling for less than on your big day. Also suggest translucent powder over the concealer. Let it sit then whipe away with brush. It stops creasing. Shape tape by tarte is ... life changing concealer. Any translucent powder.

I'm sorry this has happened to you. I can't believe a professional HMUA did that to you. I thought your 1st pic was the "before" pic. How she could look at your inspiration pics and think she came anywhere close is beyond me. What is more unsettling is that what she did do was not even bridal or, I'm sorry to say, not the most flattering. You're beautiful, but she did nothing to enhance your beauty. And the hair? How is what she did anything like your pic, or even a bridal style at all? Since you're so close to your wedding I wouldn't mince words when you talk to her and/or the owner. This is not quality work. Show them these comments if you need more of an idea of what to say. Good luck!

You're a 100% accurate - your trial pics look nothing like the inspiration photos.

For the hair - did she recommend getting extensions? I feel like the only way to achieve the inspo picture look for your hair would be to add extensions.

For the makeup - I think your only option is to be honest and let her know that her work was far off from what you showed her you wanted.

In the best case scenario, she would offer you a second trial.

I would get another trail from someone else

I canceled the contract and got someone else. Had the trial today and I’m so much happier!!!

100000% better. i also thought the top pic in your OP was the "before"! it didn't look like you had any makeup at all! You can tell by your expression how much happier you are.
