Reasonably priced florist and or event decorators the Asheville area

DanteNicole, on August 8, 2020 at 2:32 PM Posted in North Carolina Planning 0 10

Me and my fiance both agreed that we didn't want to spend a bunch of money on flowers and centerpieces. I saw a proposal that was over 2,000 and nearly choked. I know that's the average price but I don't want to spend too much on flowers. My max budget is 1,500..max I would prefer 1,000. Also what are some alternatives of decoration I should consider.

You can consider other types of centerpieces such as lanterns, candles, succulents, sola wood flowers- look at Pinterest for ideas! You can also DIY your own centerpieces and bouquets for your wedding.

Also check out Something Borrowed Blooms, I am getting returnable bridesmaid bouquets from them since I am not crafty.

Have you checked the vendor tab or Instagram? Costco sells flowers online or you can diy through fiftyflowers.com.

Ask Safeway for a quote for the bouquet. Or any other grocery store that has flora department. I paid 1/3 of what close by florist proposed me.

I'm a little nervous about DIY because I'm not the most visual artsy person. I'l check out some ideas.

You could also find a florist that you like and is willing to work within your budget. Flowers were important to me, but my florist helped me find flowers that were visually similar to what I wanted but at a lower price point. She also helped me focus my budget on impactful pieces (bridal bouquet and arch) rather than centerpieces.

My aunt made my lanterns and I’m having my florist just provide the greenery and roses surrounding it ... my bouquet, my daughter bouquet, rose pedals for my other daughter, aisle markers, 3 corsages, 4 bootineers, 3 small table arrangements for welcome table and sweetheart table and some more pedals for cake table and sweetheart table. $1300. Let them know your on a budget
