You could always buy some discount fabric and attempt to make a chair cover. Or you can rent them. Check out you tube for instructions.

Purple and turquoise

I have a similar type of chair. I am using tulle and ribbon to make covers for just the back of the chairs. I found the tulle really cheap on Gifts International's website and the ribbon that I want to use at papermart.com.

That is really cute, I love those! I am thinking, purple and turquoise on every other chair?? Are your chairs black too? I am worried about too much black showing through? How much tulle did you need per chair and what was the width that you needed?

On efavormart.com you can get chair covers for 2 dollars each and sashes for like 90 cents each, and there very pretty.

@ztkyx -- that is what i was thinking... or along those lines... you could do a simple bow / wrap around each chair utilizing your wedding colors. i think it would look great on those chairs.

Hey your wedding is on the same day as mines and we have the same exact colors!!!!! But you can try the universal chair covers. You can but them for way cheaper than renting them.

I bought my things from efavormart as well.

I haven't actually done mine up yet. I am using 54" wide tulle that I am ordering from Gifts International. I am ordering 80 yards for about $21.00. I am only doing about 100 chairs and think I will have way more tulle than I need, but I plan on using the rest to make table runners or some other deocrations with.

My chairs are also black, I am using lavender tulle with ivory organza ribbon with gold edging and banding.

Efavormart, and partycity.com have good deals on chair covers and sashes. You could always purchase the covers, and make your own sashes, (if it would be cheaper). When it's all over, just sell them. Good luck!
