We’re having an outdoor barn themed wedding in the fall. What are some good food ideas?

If you’re going for BBQ you could always do a pig roast. It could be a fun thing for guests to experience if they’ve never been to one before.

I think maybe you should also have baked beans and or mac and cheese , there aew several people like myself who don't eat mayo at all. and definitely a salad or greenbeans

Our venue is owned by a caterer and we will have fried chicken, ham, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn etc: southern, down home, cooking.

Ours is in the spring at a barn, but we are doing BBQ Pulled Pork, Italian Beef, Mashed potatoes, salad, some veggies (corn or green beans probably). Also trying to come up with a vegetarian option as I have a bridesmaid with PKU and a bridesmaid who is vegetarian.

Love the idea of comfort foods! Mashed potatoes, greens, and some gourmet corn on the cob sounds delish. Maybe even small bite sized fried chicken would be nice! I'd try to keep it as easy to eat as possible, since guests will be wearing nice clothes (not to mention your wedding dress!) but it all sounds so good Smiley heart Love me some southern food.
