What song are you ladies picking for your walk down the aisle? I definitely want guiding light by Foy Vance and Ed Sheeran. The song is 6 minutes long. I would like to start my walk at either 1:40 or 3:20 in. Or I could start my walk and get to FH by 2:15? There are 4 sets of bridesmaids/groomsmen. The ceremony is outside and only about 30 guests will be attending, very casual, probably not going to even do chairs, so I can make the aisle as long or as short as we like. Do I need a separate song for them? Is that typical? Do you ladies have one song for them and one for you? IS 2:15 long enough for just me to walk? Help please!

We are having one song for everyone. Groom and GM will already be by the alter, they are not walking. The people who are walking are parents, grandparents and then me and my BM. The song I picked is like 6 and a half minutes long. We are starting it from the beginning and then the DJ is going to fade the music out once we are all at the alter.

"When I Say I Do" by Matthew West.

I'm having a Catholic Wedding performed by a Deacon. Since the Priest won't be there (and I know the organist really well) I'm able to use a modern Christian song.

It'll be the same song for me, the flower girl, and the entire bridal party (Groomsmen will be standing in front of the alter).

I'm just going to have the organist play an instrumental version of the same song when we light our Unity Candle too.

We are doing one song for the wedding party to walk down to (Somewhere over the rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwoʻole) and I am walking down to an instrumental, acoustic guitar version of Perfect by Ed Sheeran.

I would consider having a separate song for your bridal party and yourself. That way it distinguishes a break between the two. We have a separate song for each part of the processional:

Parents / Grandparents Walk: "What a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong

Procession (Bridal Party): "Can't help falling in love" by Elvis Presley

Bride Walk: "At Last" by Etta James
