Red Dress

Brianna, on May 31, 2021 at 5:32 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5

Hey everyone!

It's my dream to have a gorgeous, deep red bridal gown. I'm not sure if this means doing a custom order, buying a white one and dying it, or if there are boutiques that carry colored gowns. I really have no idea where to begin. Does anyone have any experience wearing a colored wedding gown? What did you do and how did you do it? I'm attaching a picture of the sort of dress I long for--but in a rose color.

There are countless red wedding dresses available. Never dye a white dress because the color will not distribute evenly. A Google search will bring up many options. Cocomelody has red dresses (and the same try at home program that Azazie does) as does David’s, Another option is look at prom dresses or go to Nordstrom.com and search for formal dresses.

I've been trying to look up bridal shops in my area, but haven't been able to find any that say anything about carrying red! I've never heard of Cocomelody, though, so thank you! 😊

You need to call local shops ( they are listed in your area on Yelp) and ask each one specifically if they carry red wedding dresses. They won’t advertise it because it isn’t the popular norm that their target audience wants.

If all else fails look at regular formal gown, such as the prom section. They have all colors and you might find something that looks like a wedding dress.
