Red lipstick for wedding??

I’ve always pictured myself with red lipstick for my wedding, i love the boldness and pop of color since my wedding colors are going to be a simple and classic combo of white and gold, but i really don’t know which red lipstick would work for a wedding since there’s going to be eating and drinking and kissing, i don’t want to worry about transferring my lipstick to my soon to be husband, has anyone had any experience with this and have any recommendations?? i appreciate any help and tips and pics

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick
Chanel Rouge Allure Ink
Sephora Cream Lip Stain
Maybelline SuperStay Matte Lipstick
the colorpop liquid lipsticks are pretty good too, and cheap enough you can try a few out first!
There are also other ways that you can make your lipstick last longer - use a good pencil liner (I really love the chanel ones) not just to line the lips but over the whole lip, underneath your lipstick. Then, put on your first layer of lipstick. After that, separate a tissue into one thin layer and place it over your lips. Use a loose setting powder to dust the lips through the tissue. Repeat the lipstick and powder layers several times.
There are also sealant type products (lipcote is a very famous one) which will seal in the lipstick for as long as possible and prevent kiss or food transfer.
That said, it's lipstick, not a tattoo, so your best option is to bring the tube with you and reapply as needed

I agree with the Maybelline SuperStay Matte Lipstick! I have worn their red numerous times to work and through coffee, snacks, lunch, etc., and it looked exactly the same when I got home from work as it did when I put it on in the morning! At less than $10, it is definitely worth trying out yourself!

I hate to say it but Kylie Lip Kits are pretty great. Mary Jo is a nice, true red and stays on FOREVER.

Depending on your skin tone and the dress color i would try a few different shades first. Also remember that teeth whitening is a must before a bold lip and white attire (not to offend, just a helpful tip to ensure wedding photos are on point as some colors can actually have a yellowing effect on teeth) I’m a huge fan of Rouge Dior colors, and lip liner is a must to define.
