Redneck wedding!

Emily, on August 9, 2018 at 1:50 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 8
So I call the wedding I want rustic country. Most people look at it towards as redneck because of my fiancé being one.I love my fiancé to death, but what could I do to make it known that it’s rustic country not redneck?Ideas?

No cameo is one good way to make sure it isn't redneck. Other then that Just google redneck wedding and do everything the opposite of what you find lol!

Hi Emily! Agreeing with the comment above, just avoid the whole camo thing, lol! I found some pretty country, rustic decoration pictures that I'll attach for inspiration!

This question has got me all in giggles! I think yes, stay away from camo, plaid and canned beer and you should be good! 😁

To keep the class up a bit I would definitely use real plates, not plastic, same goes for silverware and glasses. Also use bottles instead of cans for beer. Besides camo I would say no to jeans as well.

I would say no camo, no plaid , no jeans and no canned beer. If you're having the bridesmaids wear cowgirl boots try to get them to match or if they don't match maybe just a plain brown cowgirl boot. I would also say don't go over the top with lace and burlap.

LOL I can def relate to this post. My family is def redneck (my 1 brother has a mullet and his hair is longer than mine) and his is not. But he is the hunter and into camo. We are also going for the rustic country feel. Plan on using simple flowers....prob wildflowers. Wood slab centerpiece since my FH is a hunter and very much into the woods. Prob a mason jar idea. Also contemplating tasteful antler display. I def want to in cooperate my FH likes and hobbies.

Funny story about the camo thing tho.....I asked my brother and sister in law for my nephews to be in the wedding....SIL said ok as long as her children are NOT wearing any camo of any kind...not even a sock. LOL I agreed of course but FH said I shouldn't have agreed. He just wants to piss off my SIL....sometimes he is such an instigator.
