FH and I had our wedding plans really ruined by the pandemic, and we have had a hard time enjoying planning or being excited. One thing that felt so normal for me was making my registry. My family urged me to make one even though we can't send out invites for the foreseeable future, and it felt like even with the pandemic, that experience was completely normal. I had so much fun picking things out for my future home and family!
FH wasn't as interested in the registry. He thinks the stuff we have now is fine and he didn't really have any decorating ideas (his aesthetic is utility lol). He was a good sport, but it definitely wasn't the relief for him that it was for me.
One thing he wants that we don't have is exercise equipment. He loves working out, and I thought this might be a fun thing for him to register for. Nothing he wants would be inappropriately expensive (free weights, mats, a bench).
