We registered for a couple of upgrades: new knife set, pots and pans, etc. We also added new luggage as we'll be going on 2 international trips in the next few months. And of course the cheaper odds and ends.

New sheets, new towels, pots and pans with matching lids. It also just depends on your situation. We just bought a house and land, so we registered for a lot of "outside" things like shovels, rakes, waterhoses, tiki torches, patio furniture, etc.

We registered for a Roomba, Ring, Nest and Alexas... and decided we couldn't wait any longer and splurged on them ourselves. We love them.
