Registry in store or online?

Some stores still do the scanners but others don't. My FH and I were looking into registering at Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond. Target makes you use your phone to scan the items for your registry but Bed, Bath and Beyond still have the scanners.

We just registered online through Amazon. Quick and easy! I honestly didn't even know you could register in-store, but I could definitely see the advantage of feeling bedding/towels in person

We are just registering through Target. I created the registry online just because it was easier and I had a good idea of what my FH and I would want.

We did it online through Amazon. I've heard a lot of horror stories about in store registering with Bed Bath & Beyond so if you are going through them, you should do it online. I imagine places like Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Crate & Barrel are easier in person.

We registered at Target and Bed, Bath & Beyond. We did them both in store but just used our phone as the scanner. We downloaded the registry app for both of them and created an account, then you can browse through the store and scan things as you go. You can also go back and add or delete things online if you need to. Saved us the trouble of having to actually go talk to someone to get set up, especially at BBB where I've heard they try to go with you and pick out stuff for you.
