Registry not syncing

Rachel, on February 19, 2018 at 12:19 PM Posted in Account Support 0 17

Does anybody know how to sync the weddingwire registry to the weddingwire website? When I click on registry on my own page, both stores that we have registered at appear. However, when I got to the registry information on the website, only one store appears, and it doesn't look like it is updating. Any ideas? TIA

I was having this issue, I deleted my registries and re-added. It fixed the issue, but I noticed that if I add something or delete, it does not update on my WW registry... so I have deleted and re-added several times at this point for that reason.

I have this problem. Anthropologie isn't showing up on mine no matter how many times I add and remove.

Yeah, I have attempted to delete and re-add it a few times as well. I will try to email, since the mods haven't seen this yet. I'll report back if they have a fix.

Go to wedding website. Click edit in the registry section. Click add registry and then the wedding wire one will pop up and you save. I emailed them as well....

Thank you for reaching out, I am happy to help! We just launched our new WeddingWire Registry, and moving forward this will be where all your registry information can be found. This new registry platform will house all your retailer registries on one page, making it even easier for you and guests. You can create new retail registries, and import registries you have already created! I recommend exploring this new platform more on https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-registry!
If you would prefer to keep the registry tiles already on your wedding website, you can add a Registry link (with the retailer's logo) to your wedding website. To do so, follow the steps below:- Log in to your WeddingWire account- Hover over 'Planning Tools' and select 'Wedding Website'- Click 'Edit Website'- Go to your Registry page and click '+Add Section to Page'- Select a Text+Image box- Paste your Registry URL into the text box and highlight it with your cursor- Click the chain link icon (fifth from the right) to hyperlink your Registry URL- Find the retailer's logo online and add it as the image- Click the green checkmark to save your changes

Mine took over two weeks to sync up. Only late last week did it finally show our BBB stuff (Amazon is only showing one or two items but most of our items on there are through the universal registry feature which might be part of the issue)

I would just give it some time or I would contact WW tech support.

Hi Rachel! We don't automatically add your registry information to your wedding website for you, you'll need to add it on your own!

Open the website editor and go to your Registry page, then add your WeddingWire Registry to the page!

How to add your WeddingWire Registry to your Wedding Website

Right, but when I do that, it just has a link to the weddingwire registry, but on the registry tab of the website itself it doesn't have the different stores or the gifts? Is that what is supposed to happen? It just links back to the weddingwire registry? It isn't integrated?

It's really backwards and convoluted. I had to contact support to figure out if it was right. Basically you add your websites to the Registry page, and once you do that they put a little link box thing that says WW Registry. When your guests click it they get taken to the WW registry page which will have your website's actually linked and to get to your registries they click those little links.

It's really dumb and convoluted and I had to put a little explanation how to on mine since guests couldn't figure it out. It was much better when the box hyperlink thing for each individual registry appeared on your website itself.

Hi Rachel! We don't host your registry on your actual wedding website, so yes your guests need to click on the tile or link to your WeddingWire registry where they can then view and shop your items.

How do you delete and re-add? I have deleted the page and re-added the page several times thinking that is what I had to do but as soon as I add the page back, it automatically adds the same registry. I cannot edit, add another or anything.

Hi Sherry! In order to remove a registry, you will need to visit the WeddingWire Registry tool. You will find that on your WeddingWire homepage by clicking 'Registry' at the top of the page. From there, click 'Go to Settings' and you will see the option to remove and add retailers.

    I AM NOW OFFICIALLY FRUSTRATED!!!

I have spent hours trying to get my registry (which I have already done on the retail website) imported to my wedding website. I have tried to add the URL and countless times it is invalid and I can not import. I contacted support who told me to do what I have already done several times. I have linked my wedding wire registry to my website, but there is no button that says “add a section”. My invites are being received and I had no idea this would be so time consuming! PLEASE, PLEASE can somebody explain what I am doing wrong or give me detailed instructions on how to rectify this.....
