Registry Timeframe?

Destiera, on June 27, 2019 at 9:30 PM Posted in Registry 0 9
I’m extremely curious as I’ve started my registry but I didn’t plan on sharing it in September. I didn’t know if it was too early or late since I am getting married in March. How early or when do you put out your wedding registry?

I just had it public when it was more or less complete. Most people aren't really going to be looking for it until shower invites go out, so it doesn't matter too much.

People have been asking my mom for ours for at least a month, and we're not getting married until next Sept. I just made it public earlier this week, after we put the deposit down on our venue. It mostly just has honeymoon fund stuff on there until FH finishes his busy season in Aug.

We created our a couple weeks ago. My FH has a busy schedule with school this upcoming year so we figured we should get it done when he had free time. I will update it if products get discontinued/unavailable, but he was there to help pick out the Big stuff.

We started our registry in March for our March wedding. We know we will have to update it as it gets closer.
It's technically public if someone looks for it. But I doubt they will til December.

We started ours over a year out, it was on Amazon so easy to edit online. We put it on our wedding website and our website was on our invites & save the dates!

Never too early! Plus it takes time to really figure out what you both will want and need. Every few weeks I go "oh yeah!" and add something else to the registry lol

I have an Amazon Wishlist that I add things I like and then when it becomes time, just move it over to an Amazon Registry. I don't think anyone will be looking for it until Shower invites go out, which for us, isn't until January.

We did ours over a year out and I’m so glad we did! It was so nice to sit back a few months after and clean it up with a more realistic mindset. It’s easy to get excited and scan something that you really won’t use. Now if an item is still on my registry a year later, we actually want it and will use it.
