I'm getting married October of this year. My MOH (my sister) will be planning my bridal shower sometime in August. Around what time would be good to start our registry?

I’d probably start it around April/May, personally. You don’t want to start it too early only to have items be discontinued/sold out.

You can start whenever, but I would wait until 3-4 or so months before the shower so you don't have to deal with out of stock or discontinued items.

We started our registry on Amazon right after we got engaged. It gave us time to add things (then take them off if we realized they weren't necessary or we purchased them) and research brands.

Agreed with MrsD. We've been adding and subtracting for a while now, and keeping an eye on if things get discontinued. You also dont have to make it visible right away either

I agree with the ladies above. Tastes change some things become more important and some things you find by searching random items. It's nice to be able to keep it private until you reveal your list.
