I wouldn't suggest registering for a car. Just don't do a registry and most people will gift you cash. If someone specifically asks what they should get you, just politely ask for cash and tell them that you're saving for a new car.

i was not going to registrar for a car but everyone keeps asking what we need. i told a friend of mine only thing we need is a car and he said that what you should registrar for than. i was like it be nice to get one but i don t think it is what registrar for

I agree with PPs. I'd do a very small registry or not register at all. Most people know cash makes a great wedding gift

Just don't register - if people ask, tell them you're saving for a new car. They will get the hint.
