How many items should you put on your registry? Price range?

Two per guest is the standard, however, there’s no real guideline. It will depend on guest count, cost, if you’re having a shower, etc. I would have a few gifts under $50 and make higher priced items to where multiple people can chip in if your registry allows that.

There is no limit to the number of things you can put on your registry. Have a wide variety of price ranges from $5 on up to $500+. Some can only afford less expensive gifts while others will not purchase any under $100. Also some guests will go in together on a gift.

I think we had around 150 items on our registry. They ranged in price from $10 to $400. Surprisingly, the more expensive gifts were the ones purchased first.

Definitely have a wide range just because you don't know what their budgets are.

I agree with Melle. Especially since covid possibly messed up some peoples finances.

2 gifts per guest is a good guideline to go by! Have a wide range of prices as well so that everyone with different budgets can get you a gift. We have items ranging from $2-$400.

I know some guests like to group items together to make one big gift. I've been to showers where a guest had bought several lower ticket items (like kitchen utensils etc) and 'wrapped' them in a gift basket! This is why it's important to make sure you have enough gifts listed for all your guests to be able to get you something. If you don't have anything else, you can always have a 'honeymoon fund' on there!

We have a registry on Zola, and they have the option to change a gift to 'group gifting'. This is perfect for the high ticket items, and allows for multiple people to chip in whatever amount they want towards that gift!

We registered on Target (about 30 items), Crate & Barrel (about 60 items), and Bed Bath & Beyond (about 50 items). Price range was $1-$500, with the vast majority being under $50-100.

Pre-COVID we planned on having 130 guests and a shower, but neither of those things happened. We invited 35 guests to our wedding and got about 10 gifts; the rest were cards.

About 80 items from Amazon, a lot of houseware items...comforter sets, couples games, cookware, camping chairs all ranging from $25 to about $265 (entertainment center with a fire place) We also put Southwest gift cards on there for $100 and $200 dollars as well as some Visa gift cards from $25 - $50
