Have any of you registered at honeyfund?
Did you put another option for a registry?

We're doing a honeymoon fund through Zola and also have a couple of physical registries (Macy's and Crate & Barrel). My friends who used Honeyfund for their registries also did small physical gift registries too!

Yup! Honeyfund worked great for us. We also did very small registries at BBB & Macy’s then linked our Honeyfund to those. We told everyone Honeyfund so they could just go to one place.

We are using Traveler's Joy as a honeymoon fund, and we also registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and Amazon! I went back and forth on the etiquette of having a honeymoon fund vs not, but realized if people don't like it they don't have to contribute, and we did have other tangible gift options. We used The Knot for our wedding website so it lists all 3 registries on the same page.

We also broke our honeymoon fund down by certain activities, rather than just having a general "fund"... i.e. my aunt got us a "snorkeling excursion" so she was able to feel like she was treating us to an actual experience rather than just putting money into a general fund account. And we'll absolutely be sending pictures of us snorkeling along with her thank you note, so she can see how happy it made us and that we actually used her money for what we said we would, haha.

I would take how much of a fee the site takes into consideration when choosing a fund website. We registered with Zola fully intending to have a house down payment fund, but then I saw someone on here point out the fees the fund sites take. I knew they did it, but hadn't really thought about it. After seeing that comment, I decided to not use the cash fund. If a guest gives us $100 check, we get $100. On one site (I can't remember which), there is a 7% fee taken, so it isn't $100. It's $93. That adds up after awhile.

I'm not trying to talk you out of doing a fund. I'm just suggesting you take a closer look at the fees before choosing one.
