Hi guys I know on Zola there is a way you can post your dj, photographer and honey moon, etc. It allows people to donate or gift money to each category instead of a registry. Does anyone know how to do that/set it up?

I used Zola. So once you register as a user you can add cash funds. You can label the cash funds as various things. And you can write a description for each. Keep in mind there’s a transaction fee.

There’s two options - one for you to pay or for your guest to pay. I opted to pay the fee of 2.5%. But I think if they said you wanna transfer to a gift card option then there’s no fee.

Just as an FYI, some guests may consider cash funds, especially to fund the wedding, poor ettiquite.

I don’t think there’s any registry that asks your guests to pay for your wedding. Even if there was, I can’t see that being well received. Have the wedding that you can afford.

I've heard of honey funds but paying for parts of the wedding seems like a faux pax

Yes, I recomment not listing wedding day items or activities on your registry.

The wonderful thing about cash funds is that nobody checks what you're spending them on, so you could use "snorkeling in Hawaii" money to pay off the credit card bill for the DJ, but guests don't want to think they're paying for that.
