Registry

Scarlet, on December 27, 2019 at 10:05 AM Posted in Registry 0 4
My husband and I are both military. We recently got orders and we have our wedding then move a week couple weeks after. Originally, I created a registry, but now since we’re moving we can’t afford to take much more household goods. How can I say that we’re not doing a registry, but anything monetary would be appreciated without sounding rude? TIA!

Just delete your registry. When people ask, say "since we'll be moving soon after the wedding, we decided not to do a registry." Everyone knows cash is a good gift, they don't need to be told.

I agree that you can delete the registry, but after that I don't think anything else needs to be said. Most people will get the hint and give cash Smiley smile
