There are multiple sites for this, such as The Knot, Zola, Honeyfund, and Traveler's Joy. However, these all charge a small fee for the transaction, and many people find them tacky. If you are planning to take your honeymoon right after your wedding, you probably won't be able to get the money in time to use it anyway. People will contribute as a wedding gift and therefore do so closer to the wedding date. If you want cash, the easiest thing to do is to just not register and people will give you cash/checks at the wedding.

We added a cute card in our invitations that had a saying about wanting cash or check instead of gifts. Definitely an awesome Pinterest find! A lot of our guests have mentioned how cute it is and how they have no problem doing that. Better than a website that charges a fee.

Honestly, few people bring gifts to the wedding. Most people give money. We didn't have any poems or anything. We even had a physical registry. People purchased gifts off the registry for the shower. We had 1 guest bring a physical gift to the wedding. Every other guest brought a card with cash or a check. People know cash is a good gift. They really don't need to be told that.

View Quoted Comment The more I think about it that is very true! Now a days people know weddings are expensive and money helps with food costs! So we always give money I did do registry for those who wanted to buy something but we live together and have 2 boys so there isnt much on there.
