Rehearsal Brunch?

Erica, on November 7, 2019 at 6:54 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 11
Our rehearsal is going to be the day before our wedding at 9am. I was thinking we could do a rehearsal brunch, so that people aren’t stuck hanging around until dinner if they don’t want to. Our venue is about a hour away from where we live, so it would either have to be at the hotel or at a restaurant. The hotel is apartment style, so in one of the 3 bedrooms it would pretty easily fit the 25ish guests we expect at the rehearsal brunch.
Is it rude to not do it at a restaurant? I know the wedding party has spent time and money to be apart of the big day.
I’ve looked into brunch places near by, but I have been having a hard time finding a place that would accommodate all of us.
I think the hotel may also give people the opportunity to socialize more.

I think that would be done as long as there is enough room for everyone. Brunch sounds nice.

I think as long as there’s enough room and they’re getting fed that it’s totally okay to do it at the hotel!

Not rude to have it outside of a restaurant. Plenty of people do a bbq at their house or even just order pizzas. Just be sure they're fed!

You definitely don't have to do it at a restaurant. As long as you are feeding people in a comfortable space (enough room in the apartment) then it will be great! And I think brunch sounds awesome!

We’re also doing a brunch since we can’t get in the venue the day of after 2. I think whatever you guys decide is good. It’s really about just spending time with immediate family and the bridal party and thanking them for being a part of your big day. I’m sure whatever you plan will be beautiful.

I think it's ok that it doesn't need to be at a restaurant. The point is to feed them for their time.

I think providing a meal for everyone is what is important, more so than the location. I love brunch so I would be very happy if I were your bridal party lol
