Rehearsal Dinner and Day-after Brunch

Lisa, on January 8, 2020 at 6:09 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 8

Who are you inviting to your rehearsal dinner and day-after brunch? How are you notifying these individuals of the events? Is it customary to include separate inserts with the wedding invitation with two more RSVPs - which seems excessive? Smiley amazing

If not included with the wedding invations, when should these be sent?

We will likely be inviting all out of town guests and family to both but I am not sure how to invite them.

Thank you!

I would do online RSVPs for the pre and post wedding events, or include them on your one RAVP card.

I'm doing online RSVPs! My party is pretty young and tech savvy too.

I am inviting the wedding party + spouses, out-of-country guests and parents. Smiley smile

What about the invitation itself? What do you use for an online RSVP's? Most of our guests should be able to figure out... I hope!

We only invited the bridal party, their significant others, my parents, his parents, the flower girls, ring bearer and their parents, our reader and her significant other to our rehearsal. We just texted everyone invited the information. For the after party breakfast, we invited everyone and we provided a details card about it along with the invitations.

I am having 3 events and therefore doing online RSVPs. For the rehearsal dinner (sangeet for us) we are having one group of guests (out of town guests and family/bridal party), wedding/reception is everyone, and brunch is a smaller group (groom's family hosting).

I am doing separate invites for all of them to mail them and then RSVP online. When they plug in their names it will only pop up the events they are invited to. We are using Minted for our invitations and for our online RSVPs.

If you include it in with your invitation as a formal event, people are going to assume you’re paying for it, so just be aware of that.

We did include an insert card with our invitation for the rehearsal dinner. We didn’t host a formal morning after brunch or anything, but I coordinated with my uncle and cousins to meet for lunch the following day. It was more of a “text us when youre checking out of the hotel and we’ll meet at the restaurant” kinda deal lol.

Rehearsal Dinner - Invites included with wedding invites - 70 people today (immediate family, wedding party + dates + kids, aunts/uncles/cousins, out of state guests

We didn't do a day after brunch. We just hung out in the lobby to say goodbye to everyone.
