Rehearsal dinner and welcome party

Emma, on June 17, 2019 at 1:17 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 5
Hello,

What is everyone doing for their rehearsal dinner. Are you also having a welcome party to invite all of the guest? We are having our wedding in North Carolina and all of our families are from Ohio and Michigan. I want a low-key rehearsal dinner. I was thinking at a brewery that serves food. Anyone from Asheville have any suggestions?

We are having a rehearsal dinner for 60 guests (we have a large bridal party & are including aunts/uncles/cousins) at a mexican restaurant. After, we will hangout in the hotel bar to see if other guests want to come say hi. This isn't hosted, and will be worded on the website & in the welcome bags.

We still haven’t booked our rehearsal dinner and are keeping it to bridal party (and significant others) and immediate family only. As for a welcome party we are not having anything like that but I will be staying at our hotel block the night before so I hope I can get some relaxing time with friends and family that have come in early from out of town.

We had a DW in Florida where all our guests were traveling. We invited everyone to our RD. Out of the 80 that attended the wedding, 50 attended the RD. I think something low key like a brewery would be great! We did a buffet dinner with beer and wine at a french restaurant.

We got a conference room at one of the hotels we blocked. We are bringing in food and liquor. We will do the wedding rehearsal during this time. Afterwards we will open it up to have a meet and greet for out of town guests.

We are having our rehearsal dinner at our venue, which is a vineyard. It will be just us, our families, our wedding party, and their significant others.
As far as Asheville suggestions... if you are looking for a brewery, look at Sierra Nevada. They have a beautiful space with great views and outdoor space. They also have amazing food.
