Rehearsal Dinner Bbq?

So I'm having our wedding ceremony outside of the shelter house we plan to have our reception in. This is located in our local forestry. We plan to have our rehearsal 5 days before our wedding date because of work schedules and it being the best day. We want to do a small dinner that night but nothing huge. Would it be acceptable to take advantage of the shelter house and it's grill that day and do a BQQ type rehearsal dinner? Like burgers, potatoe salad, chips and dip, hotdogs, ect...

    We’re having our rehearsal at noon the day before and having a catered backyard bbq lunch after. Rehearsal dinner should be chill so that everyone can relax before the hustle!

    Totally! We are having ours the resort we are getting married at. It’s outside near Shasta Lake. There’s a pool and a bunch of activities at the resort to do and we are just having Mexican food. Super laid back.

    Sounds good to me. We will be out camping the Thursday before our wedding to until after our wedding. We plan on grilling for our dinner too.
