Rehearsal dinner decor?

Are you supposed to decorate your rehearsal dinner space? I honestly just thought about this today and I have no idea lol. What is everyone doing for your rehearsal dinner and are you decorating?

My location is soooo stunning that I don't want to try to decorate it at all! If I did anything I might add a few small cases of sangria or plum flowers.
This is the "Turquoise Tiger" at "Turning Stone Resort & Casino"...

I have never seen decor for rehearsal dinner! Don't waste the money. If it's in a restaurant it's just that. If it's someone's house leave it at that! I also don't get the whole official invites for a rehearsal dinner people ask about if they should do. Just text the bridal party they should know they are involved in that! Out of town guests a simple phone call or text suffices too.

We aren't. We are renting a room at a mexican restaurant, it comes with black linens. I ordered customized menus so that will be our "decor" and they have a smart TV we will play a slideshow of baby pictures on.

Our rehearsal dinner is included in our venue rental, so it will be at the wedding venue! We don't plan on decorating at all because we want it to be super casual. The only thing we might do is decorate a table or two so our family can see how everything is going to look for the big day.

I think it depends on where you are having it, as well as personal preference. We're doing a simple dinner at our favorite Chinese place, so no decor involved. Thank goodness, because I'm already exhausted thinking about reception decor!

My future MIL is handling everything for the rehearsal dinner and I know she is going FULL BLOWN with the decor. She even hired a florist and planner. It's all a bit much, but I'm relieved I dont have to do anything! I just asked her to make me a flower crown..hahaha

I've only been to 2 rehersal dinners. One was a backyard not decorated at all. The other was a restaurant not decorated at all.
We are having our rehersal dinner at our venue. So it will be decorated for the ceremony. We will be fancy eating our pizza and cheap pasta. 🤷‍♀️

My venue doesn't let us decorate before the wedding so no decorations for us. We will go to a restaurant after so I don't think anyone will care either way

We're having it in the private room of a casual Mexican restaurant and won't be decorating at all. The restaurant is already pretty colorful on its own but I don't want to be bothered with it either way!

I think I'm just going to use random things I have from either my bridal shower or have gotten just since being engaged that won be included in the wedding decor. Thank you all your your help!

Not necessary. We will a bit of decorating because our rehearsal dinner is on Halloween. So some minimal decorations and bowls of Halloween candy!

Our wedding party is super small so we are hosting our rehearsal dinner at our house and doing a wine & charcuterie event. Going to do some light decorating.
