Rehearsal Dinner Frederick Maryland

Deanna, on January 8, 2014 at 2:07 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 6

Hi all,

I am getting married in Myersville, MD which is close to Frederick, MD. I am searching for locations to have the rehearsal dinner, I want somewhere that isn't just a meat and potatoes place because that is what we are having for the wedding dinner. Mexican, Italian, Mediterranean....etc. Also somewhere that is reasonably priced. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

If you have the option you could consider doing it at someone's house. We did our rehearsal dinner at my aunt's house and we just had the local pizza place cater it with salad, pizza, pasta, and bread. We bought our own drinks from Costco and BevMo and everything about the evening was perfect. It was really relaxed and we had no rush to get out because we weren't being waited on.

La Paz is great and they have a room upstairs, Brewers Alley also has a room, and Isabella's is great but I don't think they have a private room. All 3 have great food and are affordable.

I used to live in Myersville, and go to La Paz every time I'm back to visit! I really like Il Porto too, but it's on the smaller side.

There are a ton of great restaurants in downtown Frederick.

Links to their sites can be found here, and you can check if they have private rooms:

Brewer's Alley is great but it sounds like that's not the type of food you want. There's a mediterranean place in Frederick that is GREAT. It's called Ayse (link below) but it's fairly expensive. It's my favorite restaurant though.

I know it's been a few years since this thread was active, but does anyone else have any other new recommendations for affordable rehearsal dinner options in Frederick? I love the idea of La Paz but the Yelp reviews scared me a bit (2.3 stars).
