Nice to have, I’m not expecting a big thing but I am planning on everyone in the wedding to get together the night before and just go through everything so there’s no questions the day of in terms of who’s doing what or when to be places.

Need to have if you're having a rehearsal. We're not able to do the rehearsal until the morning of so we're providing breakfast for the ones who show up.

Nice to have. Rehearsals aren't necessary. If you're having something then I think it's best to do some food. We're doing extremely casual with pizza and beer.

This is a need. If you have a rehearsal you need a rehearsal dinner. But only for parents of bride and groom and guest who are in the wedding and their spouse.

Need to have if a rehearsal is taking place, I think it's only fair to feed everyone who came out. Also looking forward to having one last meal with everyone before the big day!

Nice to have. We have no bridal party and no rehearsal so it’s not a must for us personally.

Need to have! I think it’s absolutely appropriate to host a dinner to thank everyone who is helping you make your day special! I don’t think it has to be a huge fancy thing, especially if the wedding is more laid back. We are just doing a family style cookout and barbecuing burgers and hot dogs and enjoying that time with our closest friends and family!

I do see this as a need to have. But it can be somewhat informal.

Not needed but nice to treat those directly involved to a meal for coming out to practice for wedding in middle of week. Including significant others is not necessary in my option

Nice to have. I mean if you don’t have a rehearsal...you don’t need a dinner. We didn’t have a rehearsal so we didn’t have a rehearsal dinner. If you have a rehearsal though it’s a must

I think it is necessary if you are having a rehearsal. And mine is also doubling as a welcome party for out-of-town guests, so it is definitely important since we have lots of travelers.

Nice to have. We likely won’t have anything left in the bank to do one when all is said and done.
