I feel this is a Need to Have. I think it's important for multiple reasons and it allows everyone to spend more time together during this significant time for the couple.

Nice to have. I don't think you need to plan a big moment. If you're having a church ceremony( like me ) you will have do attend a rehearsal the day before and you would already gather together, from there you make a restaurant reservation so you can share a meal together. Again; no need to go crazy with this

I don't think it's necessary. I mean it's a nice addition and if you have a huge wedding then maybe, but I think it's just an added expense for no reason.

Need to have! However we are only keeping it to immediate family, wedding party and their significant others.

Need to have if you’re having a rehearsal. We’re actually having a welcome dinner as most of our guests are flying in from other states. Should be around 100 people but we feel we owe it to them. We’re grateful to be able to do it❤️

Nice to have, especially if you are having an actual rehearsal. We are planning on feeding our party after rehersal but nothing fancy, we'll probably go to a very casual place. Everyone can grab a bite and chit chat.

Nice to have, especially if your having a rehearsal. For ours, sends lots of people are traveling to our wedding destination, we’re having it open to everyone who is in town the night before the wedding. However, we aren’t paying for everyone’s food and drinks two nights in a row. I think that is an exorbitant expectation. We will be treating our bridal party, and anyone else who is in town is welcome but will be paying their own tab. Basically anyone not actually part of the rehearsal is welcome to attend but wouldn’t be paid for. We are also keeping it much more casual than the actual wedding day, and since we felt it wasn’t necessary to have two formal dinners back to back. Our rehearsal dinner is going to be rather casual since our wedding reception will be more formal.

Need to have? I’m not sure but it doesn’t need to be super extravagant. If you want to cook for your guests, do it since a lot of the time rehearsal dinners are around dinner time and normally, it’s the last few hours you hang out with your fiancé until the wedding day!

cheap and easy dinner idea; pasta and garlic bread. Buy powdered lemonade to make and have water. No more than $20-$30 to feed just about everyone you need to!

This i think is deff a Need to have bc it goes over the day of wedding plans so everyone is on the same page and knows what there doing plus giving the bridal party their gifts instead of at the wedding ...and if its going to be organized then everyone needs to know whats going on what times what is going on etc..so to me this is deff a have to have !
