For our rehearsal dinner, we will be having a real casual shrimp boil and providing beer. It will be at our venue (a barn), since we have it for the entire weekend. Our rehearsal dinner isn't so much budget based, as it is personality based. My FH and I aren't really into the formal sit down dinners, and this fits our style a lot more. Bonus: shrimp boils are EASY and affordable Smiley smile

I think I'm looking at a bbq rehearsal dinner! Casual and a nice chance for our families to meet.

Our rehearsal dinner was at my in-laws church. They have a separate building that they use for their school that we reserved for a 4 hr block of time. It served two purposes- we used the mini church/ main room to rehearse and the cafeteria for our dinner. My in-laws paid to have a local Italian restaurant deliver lasagna and garlic rolls, plus we had salad, drinks, and dessert.

Casual. Just having pizza and craft beer at my parent’s house since it’s just down the street from our venue.

We haven't planned ours yet, but I imagine it being more laid back and definitely looking at some cheaper food options.

My FH's dad has offered to take care of ours. We are doing a local seafood restaurant not to far between the venue and hotel for out of towners.

I skipped the official rehearsal dinner and had a welcome party for my guest. It was a destination wedding but I had a reserve area at the buffett that was sort of our rehearsal dinner without being anything formal. We then all went to the beach for the welcome party.

Our venue is allowing us to practice the night before. My FH and I already own a house together, so we're having the rehearsal dinner at our club house and my brother in laws own two food trucks. All we have to worry about is drinks. We got lucky with this one. MONEY SAVED!

We are not going all out, something easy and simple. They will be getting a meal and a party the next day, it don't make since to pend a lot of money the day before.

That still sounds nice though, and at least you don't have to stress the details.
