For our rehearsal dinner, we will be having a real casual shrimp boil and providing beer. It will be at our venue (a barn), since we have it for the entire weekend. Our rehearsal dinner isn't so much budget based, as it is personality based. My FH and I aren't really into the formal sit down dinners, and this fits our style a lot more. Bonus: shrimp boils are EASY and affordable Smiley smile

We are doing pizza at a local pizza place. The decision was made based on budget, location, space, and style! It is a famous local place with fantastic specialty pizza. It is in a good location for guests staying in town and it had a room for us to use at a good cost. A fancy sit down meal would have been nice...but super expensive and just not our style!

If we do one it'll be something really casual. The best man is coming in from out of town so I want to be sure he and his wife are fed!

My rehearsal dinner was super low key, we had it at home and ordered some pizzas from our favorite Italian restaurant. Everyone loved it, and best part it was super budget friendly.

We haven’t even thought about our rehearsal dinner but we more than likely will go to a restaurant nearby

We're doing a potluck at my future in-laws house. Not fully budget based, more just don't see the point in spending a huge amount of money on it and making it a huge production. We're very relaxed people and just wanted something low-key to just hang out and relax before what's sure to be a crazy day the next day.

My mom has a condo on the beach in South Florida with a community room that holds over 100. We'll cater Italian food and have a casual good time!

Yours sounds like a blast and I love that you did it based on your personality.

My FMIL booked the party room at a tavern that is like a mile from the church we are getting married at. The party room has a balcony attached that over looks the river the restaurant sits on. We are having the tavern cater it the dinner and drinks and then the bakery that is doing our wedding cake is also doing our deserts for that!

Our rehearsal dinner will be at Taverna Opa in Orlando. It is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. It’s a Greek restaurant that serves family style. The servers throw things and they have belly dancers and fire shows. Between the course guests get to dance on the tables and around the restaurant. They make special events amazing. Budget didn’t play into our decision much tho it probably should have, but we wanted to make sure our wedding party had fun and felt appreciated. It will also be a great distresser before the wedding.

We contacted a local place we love that did up a vegan Vietnamese buffet for us that night and just charged per head- we had 17 people - wedding party and out of towners and it was pretty low key and casual fun! They saved us a section of the restaurant and did a photobooth and everything for us- it was a great time!

My Future In Laws have offered to pay for our rehearsal dinner. Because of this I'm working really close with FMIL. I believe we are leaning towards going to a nearby restaurant and having a pizza and wings buffet. So we would have our rehearsal at the venue and set up the reception space and then head about 10 mins up the road to this restaurant!

We are having pizza at a local favorite. It seemed the best option, not too fancy, it had room for us to use, and it was affordable. We are paying for everything ourselves. Who doesn't like pizza?

At our wedding we are having Barbeque at the reception. My FH is from Mexico and it is a tradition to have chocolate mole at the wedding. Therefore we decided for the rehearsal dinner have it at the house, his mom and tias are going to make chocolate mole for everyone! It is going to be casual, nothing too fancy. That is how are style is also, we are very laid back.
