Rehearsal Dinner

Tiffany, on February 24, 2021 at 4:23 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 9
Hey everybody!! Our big day is 37 days away!!
And I’m getting the rehearsal dinner together. I need help with the music.
Are we supposed to play the full songs during rehearsal to get the full effect of how the day would be or just snippets of each song to leave some type of expense

Yes you use use full songs for timing purposes. You will need to practice multiple times as well.

Hi Tiffany! We played the whole song and thank goodness we did because I had a lot of tweaking to do!! If you’re songs have lyrics, use them as cues for your girls to know when to walk down 👍

Did you ever check home much real time it takes for you and your precession to get to the altar? If not, the play some of the prelude music while someone seats the parents, an usher or family escort. Then at leat 2-3 minutes more of the prelude. During this, Guys and groom go to the altar, Others get in place
Then, time the procession, see how long you will need it. This way the live musician, or whoever does your recording, can figure out how many repetitions or refrains of one tu e, or time for one for the wedding party, and separate time for the bride. That is usually it. Some people do that earlier, but if you haven't, do it at the rehearsal.
