Rehearsal Dinner

Get restaurant drop off catering. Are there any local restaurants you can celebrate at since many groups don’t have the actual dinner at the venue. Many rehearsal dinners are very casual. Pizza or burgers typically.

You can look into reserving a room at a nearby restaurant, or having a nearby restaurant cater the event (or prepare the food that you can go pick up from the restaurant). You could even have pizzas delivered!

View Quoted Comment I would definitely caution against doing a potluck. The rehearsal dinner is supposed to be a way for the couple to thank their wedding party for taking the time out of their schedules to participate in the rehearsal. Requesting they cook and bring their own food is not thanking them or properly hosting them. You should provide all the food, and your guests should not have to open their wallets or do any work.

Agreed that a taco bar sounds good! And taco meat is easy to keep warm in crockpots/chafing dishes….plus, it accommodates different dietary needs and preferences well.
