Rehearsal Dinner

Rebecca, on August 13, 2019 at 10:18 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 14
Having trouble deciding on what kind of food to have for rehearsal dinner. I really want mexican, but also want something some what faster as we will be decorating our venue that day as well. What are you guys doing for your rehearsal dinner there? Mother in law is also wanting to invite the out of town guest to the rehearsal dinner. She is paying for it. So there will be more than just our party. Probably around 20 people.

Mexican sounds so good! We've having BBQ pork, mac & cheese, potato salad, and baked beans I believe. My FMIL is paying for it and picked out the food, which I was completely fine with since I love BBQ. Her and my FH's grandma will also be making some of mine and FH's favorite homemade desserts for it as well (banana pudding, peanut butter pie, pecan pie, and a few others). They're amazing bakers, and I can't wait!

I think that's what I'm leaning more towards even though I really want mexican. 🤣🤣

That's for the rehearsal dinner! Our wedding party alone (including our 2 pastors) has 23 people in it so we'll have a lot of people at the rehearsal dinner. My FMIL wants to go all out for it since my parents are paying for almost everything the day of the wedding (my FMIL is even getting favors for everyone at the rehearsal lol). We have our venue for 3 days, though, so most things will be decorated the day beforehand and early that day. We'll be having the rehearsal dinner in the cocktail hour area.

What if you dod street tacos? It's fast mexican food without being taco bell. 😂

We did a plated meal with drinks, entree and dessert at this private room at a restaurant. It was Asian fusion. We had around... 20 people also.

I'm keeping it simple. But we're either cooking
Spaghetti salad rolls or all you can eat..Luckily
    We have until next June.

We're having a taco bar at my Future In Laws house, keep it low cost & quicker so everyone can go home after. I am just having my bridal party & whatever spouses aren't in the wedding.

We are planning the same! Seems to be the most cost efficient too.

I'm doing a rehearsal brunch because it was hard for most of my bridal party to get more than 1 day off of work so I'll be supplying donuts and fresh fruit
