Rehearsal Dinner/RSVP Card Question

Kristina, on April 11, 2009 at 11:17 PM Posted in Planning 0 2

Hi, I had two questions.

First of all, who's invited to the rehearsal dinner? I know the wedding party, but does that include the groom and bride's parents? We were a little confused about who was supposed to come.

My second question is, if you are sending out invatations and have RSVP cards in them, what should be on the RSVP card? My fiancee and I want to try and make them ourselves. Do we include a little envolope or something for them to send the RSVP's back to us?

Thanks for the help ^^

Ok, so I found an earlier post about who's invited to the rehearsal dinner. It seems like the parents of the bride and groom and the wedding party are invited, and some ppl suggested siblings who are not in the wedding also be invited.

I'm still clueless about what should be on an RSVP card or come with it. Is it a seperate card from the invitation itself? I'd really appreciate any help ^^

Its a separate card and should come with a stamped, self-addressed envelope. You want to make it as easy as possible for people to RSVP, otherwise you'll never get an accurate guest count.

Their name(s) and the number of guests are the most important parts of an RSVP. Many people also include a phone number or email for guests who prefer an alternative to mailing the card insert back.
