Rehearsal Dinners????

Mine was the evening before. Our wedding was on a Saturday evening and we had the rehearsal Friday evening. We had to book the room for the dinner itself (different room from the reception to utilize another area) separately.

I did my rehearsal on friday and my wedding was saturday.

Ours was not included, but we booked our rehearsal dinner at our venue for the Friday evening before our Saturday wedding.

We are doing ours the night before between 6-7pm that way everyone is out of work in time to get there in time for rehearsal and the dinner.

My venue doesn't include a rehearsal dinner, but does include a 1-hour walkthrough (which we'll also use as rehearsal time) within 1 week of our wedding date, but we can't schedule it until 1 month before, in case another event wants to book the space. If we also wanted a rehearsal dinner there, I think we could book that 3 months in advance. We're having a Friday wedding, though, so crossing our fingers no one wants to book a Thursday event!

Our venue assigned our rehearsal at booking. Unfortunately we couldn’t pick the time or date. The venue does all of the weekend wedding rehearsals on Thursdays. Since our wedding is a Sunday, they assigned us the latest time slot of either 7 or 7:30PM (can’t remember which). Kind of annoying because the venue isn’t close for anyone so people will have to cut out of work a little early so we can have some actual food beforehand (elsewhere), because afterwards may be too be late for people. Oh well though!
