Rehearsal

Hey all!

This may be a dumb question, but can anyone point me to a schedule of the rehearsal. I’m not sure it is supposed to run. Any advice would be helpful!

    What we are doing....

Friday 2pm—me, FH, our parents, our combined kids and my best friend meet to decorate venue.
6pm—pizza delivered to hotel where we are all staying. Out of town guests invited as well.

You can ask your ceremony venue on how they do rehearsals.
In our case our venue is allowing us 1 hour rehearsal the day before then it will be followed by a small/simple dinner.

Your rehearsal can be any way you'd like! We're having our rehearsal dinner first (at the venue) and then head to the ceremony site to rehearse!

We got the keys to our venue at 12 the friday before so husband, inlaws, and I did all decorations and set up. Rehearsal started at 6 we did a run through about two maybe three times just so the FG and RB were comfortable walking down the aisle without an adult, and dinner was served at 6:30. In attendance we had wedding party and their spouses, our parents, and out of town guest.

Our officiant charges extra for a formal rehearsal so we will do a small rehearsal a couple weeks before with just FH and me so we can iron out any kinks then. Then we'll pass on what we talked about to everyone else later.

We're having our rehearsal dinner at my sister's house the night before the wedding. We'll have a super informal taco bar and people can just grab grub for about an hour. Then we'll do a mock run-through to see how the kids in the wedding will do, and to time out the music properly. Then anyone who wants to can help us with decorating, etc.

I've been to rehearsal dinners where we just ate dinner and didn't rehearse. Everyone does it a little differently I think!
