Yeah, we had a semi-destination wedding in SoCal so ours was actually a Welcome Dinner at a brewery. It worked out perfectly because half of our guests were coming from the Midwest/east coast so they arrived around Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Then they either joined us for golf/wine tasting and our pool/bbq party on Friday or did sightseeing on their own. It gave them a nice mini-getaway from the snow in February!
