Relative doing make up- do i offer to pay?

My cousin does make up as a hobby, and she offered to do my wedding make up. She did my graduation make up a while back and it came out great. I’m just wondering if I should offer to pay her? Or just hand her some money and a thank you card afterwards? Or just accept it as a wedding gift? I’m not sure if there’s etiquette surrounding this or it’s more of a personal choice

You could give her a gift. I don't think I'd give money though so maybe do it as a gift card instead

Along with a thank you card* basically like a thank you gift. Or just get her anything you think she would like as your token of appreciation

My brother in law offered to do our videographry. He’s coming from California and won’t know many people, so he said it would save him from having to awkwardly mingle. We plan on giving him a thank you card with a $100 visa gift card.

Since she isn’t a professional, I would give her a thank you card and a monetary gift.

I did makeup for two of my friends' weddings as part of their gift. They didn't pay me. Or give me a thank you card for that matter. I did their makeup for free, that's sufficient I think. I am not offended they didn't give me anything knowing how much makeup artists cost.
