Does anyone else have this issue, swelling hands? Or have any suggestions as to what might cause this.

I keep mine on my nightstand and put it on after I'm done getting ready in the morning. I don't like having it on while I'm putting in hair products or putting on makeup. I also take it off when cooking or cleaning.

Try to avoid salt as much as possible, especially sodas. I find this helps me. My fingers always swell more if I eat out, or drink soda.

It's normal for hands and feet to swell for lots of reasons. My fingers swell from sleep, exercise and heat. But I only take my ring off to do dishes, knead dough or raw meat, work out and shower - it always goes on a little ring holder for those things.

What worries me about your post is that yours are swelling so much that the ring may be cutting off some blood flow (causing 'tingling' or numbness) to your finger. I would get it re-sized, then put in sizing beads to secure it in winter or when fingers shrink a little.

I take mine off at night. I sleep on my hands sometimes and don't wish to wake up with a ring indent on my face nor do I wanna risk smashing it either. I don't shower with it on nor do my hair. I'm very careful when washing my hands as not to let it slip off too

I take mine off every night because it's in sort of a high setting and I don't want it getting snagged on sheets or pajamas. I put it in a box on my nightstand so I see it before I leave for work.

Why do you need to take your ring off when you sleep? I always sleep with my rings on. It's not like you are doing vigorous activity in your sleep! The swelling is normal. I only take my rings off when I'm getting ready in the morning so I don't junk it up with lotions and hair gels, or when I'm cleaning with harsh chemicals. That's it! I don't see the point of not wearing it at home!

I take mine off when I get home for the day and put it on a ring dish that FH bought me for Christmas. You could also buy a special necklace holder if you want to have it on you at all times but are concerned with the swelling.

Huh, I guess I am the only one who sleeps with it on! I only take it off to shower and clean/wash dishes, etc. I may start taking it off at night now too!

I take mine off when sleeping, working (I'm a nurse), washing dishes, cleaning, etc.

I swell at night and used to sleep with my ring on. Then one night I took it off in my sleep and woke up thinking I lost it but it was tangled in the sheets. My FH got me this cute ring holder. It's two bunnies and ones kissing the other and you put the ring on the on bunnys ear.

I just put my ring in a box next to my deodorant at night to remind me to put it on before I leave in the morning.

I have a ring holder next to bed and another one in the kitchen.

I don't shower or do any cleaning with it. I don't wear it to the gym, pool or beach. He agrees.

My wedding band will be a different story.

I take mine off every night. It helps it stay cleaner as well as prevents any damage that may happen to the ring (or to FH or myself haha) during the night. I also take it off for cleaning, dishes, showers and anything else I feel might not be good for the ring.

I don't wear my ring at night. The jeweler actually told me that you're not supposed to because sheets are like sandpaper and over time will wear down your prongs.

I take mine off when I get it and put it in the Jewelry box. I put it back on in the morning.

I didn't want to take mine off at first! My wedding band is half a size larger than my engagement ring so I never take it off unless I'm in the shower. I take my engagement ring off when I'm doing anything where my hands will be submerged in water or touching raw meat or something like that and when I sleep. I have yet to forget to put it back on in the morning! In fact, I've gone all weekend without wearing it!

Eta: I take my wedding band off too when dealing with gross stuff like raw meat or dirty dishes.

I take mine off because I bloat up at night. I keep a ring holder by my bed so I don't lose it or forget it. You can find some really cute ones usually at tjmaxx or marshells. Sometimes I do forget, but whatever.

I take mines off when I get home and put it back on before I leave in the morning. Because my fingers swell at night as well and I am afraid of scratching one of my toddlers with it.

I sleep with mine on and only take it off to shower and clean/do dishes. I would hate to forget putting it on in the morning but it seems like you guys all remember so maybe i'll have to give it a shot!

I don't take it off because if I do, I go without it for at least 3 days forgetting to put it back on. It's about a 1/2 size too big to begin with so if my fingers swell, I never notice thankfully..
