Removing Leave a Message for the Couple on rsvp page

I don't know how to remove it, but daughter had very few people use it. However, of those who did, most msgs were things like, "we can't wait!" There was one guest though who used it to let us know she has a severe nut allergy (there was nothing on the menu selections to suggest any nuts, but it was good to know). Based on her msg daughter confirmed with the venue that there were not any nut-related ingredients in any of the options....

I'm pretty sure daughter received an email each times someone RSVP'd (The Knot), and if there was a msg, it was included in the email....

Thank you for providing your experience with this field. Maybe this is a good option to keep and if there is confusion, I'm sure my family would just reach out.

I don't see how it could be confusing and like the previous poster said it would be a good place for guests to write in allergies or if they are vegan/vegetarian so that you can properly accommodate them.

I only had 3 people use it. 2 people saying that they were excited and one person asking if they could bring their son.

My family can over complicate things haha

I appreciate the feedback. I think leaving it, could provide information I may need and didn't think to ask about.

Hi Lisa! The Leave a message for the couple text box and text is a default feature on the RSVP tool and cannot currently be removed or updated. I'm happy to share feedback about this with our Development Team!

How did you remove the meal option?

Under the Guest List option, then Wedding, go to Settings on the right hand side, in settings you can remove or add the meal options. I unselected "Track Meal" to completely remove this option from the RSVP.
