Removing Vendor Categories

I also vote for this feature.

Would totally love for this to become a feature very soon. As well as in the budget area. It's not very user friendly when you have to scroll through categories that you are not using. And Band, Dj and wedding music should all be in the same category. It's all music!

It's past mid-2021 and the Development team still has not hear the feedback, okay. Shouldn't be that hard.

I would say "seconded" but so many have agreed here that it's more like billionth-ed. I use WW & google sheets for all my wedding planning so utilizing the knot would be an extra tool that I find to be excessive/overburdensome for myself. For anyone looking to manage vendors more easily on WW - I've been "adding" my own vendor as "N/A" for any categories I will not be utilizing - in case that helps anyone else!

@WW - Why not have your software engineers update the vendor manager to allow removal of categories? Feels like it'd be an easy/low cost/inexpensive fix. & the knot (who's owned by the same parent company) has this feature so it feels odd that WW won't do the same.

Is this still not an option. I'm a little OCD lol would like to remove the vendors I won't be using.

Any update on this feature? When I look at the vendor manager it looks like I have a ton of planning to do - and I definitely do not. I have all but one of my vendors.

It's 2023 and this feature still not available ! I did not realize this till now, 2 month away from wedding, and my website already was sent out to guests so they can RSVP here. it's too late to start over over on another?

2024 Bride here to reiterate that this is very very needed! A bunch of the vendor categories are also redundant. Like most people will not be hiring a band AND a DJ, it is one or the other usually. It also does not allow for any DIY options

I would LOVE to have the option of customizing the vendor list. I understand having it set up with all the vendor options however there should be a way for us to be able to say a vendor is not needed and then is hidden from our view. This would help a ton with the planning stress.
