Rent Cricut Machine?

Katie, on March 11, 2017 at 10:29 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 1 7

I'd really like to use a Cricut to address my wedding invitation envelopes, but I don't think it's worth the investment to buy one. Does anyone know if it's possible to rent one? I live in northwest Philly but work in South Jersey and can travel to get it. Thanks!

Search sites like wish or offer up.

Why not use a regular printer to address your envelopes? There's lots of free fonts you can download from dafont.com. Cricut will take longer than you think especially if you've never worked with one before.

I would also agree with printing, or finding a calligrapher. I have one, and it's great for a ton of other wedding related stuff. But using the pen tool on the cricut seems like an easy thing to do, but you will spend SO much time getting each envelope set up and there's a chance the mat could tear it, or if it's just slightly off center it will look bad. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle.

I have a cricut and love it! If you ask around on social media, a friend might let you use one. Also, my public library has one! Hope that helps! Smiley smile

Thanks everyone - the envelopes are navy, which is why I can't print them. I might check local libraries or just suck it up and handwrite them myself.
