Rentals

When should we start looking into a rental company for decor or whatever else? Is this something we should do far in advance or is it typical to wait until closer?

If you haven't already booked your venue, see what is provided to you first before looking into rentals. OR, see if they have any referrals.

We needed chairs for ours and went through our venue's referral... saved us $300!

We have our venue picked and they are supplying tables and chairs. We also have our caterers and they rent out dishware and whatnot. At this moment I think the only things we will need to rent are decor!

I’d say about 6-8 months out. Just like venues, any vendor is quick to fill up on dates. You’re not just competing with other weddings but other celebrations too. So, this should give you enough time to secure your date and finances and also find competitive vendors.

If you find a company you like I would reach out now. I waited too long and the company I wanted was all booked up. I’m not getting married until 8/8/2020 and they are already booked. 😒
