Renting cake stands for your wedding?

We went to reserve a cake stand to rent for our wedding. The lady said it would be a $350.00 deposit and $95.00 to rent it. I do cakes as a side business and have made cake stands before. We were going to rent one because I felt we needed a special one. FH said we are not paying that kind of money...

We went to reserve a cake stand to rent for our wedding. The lady said it would be a $350.00 deposit and $95.00 to rent it. I do cakes as a side business and have made cake stands before. We were going to rent one because I felt we needed a special one. FH said we are not paying that kind of money to rent a cake stand you can make one. So here's what I made for less than $25.00. What do you think.
