Requirement at the wedding ( guest must wear white)

If you have a requirement at the wedding why do people feel you said something wrong to them. That’s not even being bridezilla if it was asked in advance and put on invitations. I brought this up before but my guest are required to “wear white” at my wedding bc of my theme. I guess I don’t get why...

I brought this up before but my guest are required to “wear white” at my wedding bc of my theme. I guess I don’t get why people have issues with what the bride request. To me if you are a friend of the bride what is one day of fun and participating. You would do it for any other event you had to attend such as a white party, masquerade parties etc .. You get my point .. I’m sorry, I’m not arguing with anyone on this, but to me , that’s just rude to the bride in my opinion. It shows support

    No they won’t, if they have white in their closet wear what you already have.. If they don’t and feel like it will be a big issue that’s why I said they don’t have to come ... I can’t personally make anyone do anything.. it’s just an simple invite .....

    No I won’t be nit-picking heck white jeans are even required bc you could dress it up with anything even if the males wore a white polo, white jeans , and white sneakers I’m cool with that .. I just want a classy event and something different that’s all

    Toooo funny, last year I attended roaring 20s themed wedding. Guest all showed up in outfits from the roaring 20s party!

    Which just furthers the point. You aren't even demanding formal white, just white. For God's sake, people can go to goodwill and pick out a lovely white outfit for just one day if it's such a huge deal!
