Hello out there! This is yet another Covid cancel post (sorry I know thereās tons) we live in WA where is has been decided that we cannot have receptions, no food or drink service, and only 30 person or less ceremonies. This leave us with basically three options 1st is cancel it all and elope and say done with it! The second is to postpone or reschedule for next year OR do a small ceremony on the original date and a big reception later.
Hereās whatās keeping me up at night.
1. Weāve been engaged for almost two years at this point and Iām sick and tired of all of the changes and I just want to be married and done so eloping sounds good however....2. I worked super dang hard on all of this with no planner and not much help from family or my friends (Covid and other reasons) so I want to have my big party! 3. Iām worried that if we do part now and part later itāll make it feel less special somehow like weāll be married but no dances no toasts and all the sentimental stuff has to come a year later and realistically that the parts Iām look forward to most so I donāt want to ācheapenā those moments just to do it have way.
Has anyone else been feeling this way or is it just me being WAY to angry and emotional about the whole thing? Thanks in advance and sorry for the long post
